Origin
This web app was built to solve the problem of sticky notes piling up on my wife's desk containing information given to her by colleagues and patients (she's a GP).
She needed a way to quickly record this information and then refer back to it at a later date.
Taggable allows you to create records of various types (contacts, links/URLs, books, etc.). Each record can be tagged multiple times, and tags are independent of the record type. So you can have a book, link, and contact each tagged as 'physio', for example.
When searching for resources relating to physiotherapy, you filter by the 'physio' tag and every resource appears.
When the record is found, you can share this via email or SMS (currently disabled due to cost).

Contact Validation
When you add a contact to the system, if that contact includes an email address they can be sent an email with a request to confirm/complete their data. This includes a tokenised link providing temporary access to the site to update their details.
Team Records
Users on an upgraded plan (not "free") can create a 'Team'. Other users can be added to the Team. Records can be shared with users in the Team. So, when anyone in the team hits the 'physio' tag, they can see all team members 'physio' records.
Audience
This has been designed specifically for medical practitioners, but I found it really useful when I was teaching Product Management, for storing references to websites, files (you can upload files), books, etc.
